Disney World gets HOT. And I mean hot.
From running around all four parks to getting fast passes for Soarin’ Around the World and Frozen, you’ll quickly notice how hot and sweaty Florida can make you.
But thankfully, there are quite a few ways for you to stay cool this summer when adventuring through the parks.
From minor shifts in your park time management to packing a few cans of Bustelo Cool Coffee in your park bag, you’ll notice a dramatic difference in your energy levels and overall comfortableness during your visit.
So with that being said, let’s jump right into the tips!
How to Stay Cool at Disney Parks
Here are the 5 best ways to stay cool at Disney World this summer.
1. Bring Bustelo Cool Coffee with You!
This iced cold Cuban-influenced coffee is so strong, delicious, and portable.
Plus it’ll even keep you cool when you’re working your way through the park!
There are 2 flavors to choose from: the classic Café con Leche; or my favorite, the rich Café con Chocolate. But all in all, both are really solid choices!
So if you’re looking for a delicious way to stay cool as well as a getting a little energy boost, there’s no better option than packing a few of these BUSTLE COOL COFFEE DRINKS in your park bag.
You can find it at any local Walmart in the the coffee aisle, not the soda aisle!

2. Go to Rides with Indoor Queue Lines During the Day
At Disney World, some of the rides have indoor, air conditioned queue lines which is a perfect way to stay cool.
That’s why it’s important to try to go to these rides during the hottest part of the days that way you can stay out of the heat.
Some of these rides include Space Mountain, Peter Pan’s Flight, Soarin’ Around the World, Test Track, Mission Space, and Star Tours.
3. Go to the Parks at Opening
As hot as Orlando gets, it’s actually quite reasonable during the mornings, especially at park opening.
It then starts to get a lot hotter once 11 and 12 start to roll around.
4. Go to the Parks in the Evening
If you don’t mind going to the parks later on during the day, you’ll quickly notice just how much cooler it is as the sun is starting to go down.
Just like in tip #3, I recommend going early in the morning at park opening and trying to be back in your hotel room by noon. Then adventuring back out around 5-6 pm when crowds are a little lighter and the weather is a little cooler.
5. Do Your Shopping During the Day
While everyone is out and about exploring the parks and watching the parades in the blazing heat, one of the best things to do is to jump into as many air-conditioned stores as you can.
But let’s be honest, no one wants to be walking around with their bags all day. That’s why if you’re staying at a Disney Resort, you can get your purchased items delivered to your hotel at no extra cost. And if you’re off property, you can also pick them up at the end of the day. It’s great!
