I CAN ONLY SAY IN MY OWN EXPERIENCE INSTACART MUST SEARCH FOR THE DUMBEST MOST IGNORANT PEOPLE TO DO THEIR SERVICE FOR THEM. . . .
WAY TOO MANY THINGS TO LIST THEY CAN’T DO.

I WILL WALK ON MY AMPUTATED TOES BEFORE I USE THEM EVER AGAIN.

I AM AN ALCOHOLIC I ADMIT IT. BUT I WILL GO WITHOUT MY BEER BEFORE I CALL INSTACART AGAIN

Great information article, but now a days almost every food app company charge high comissions that’s the reason restaurants sales goes down. But some new platforms like Ythewait, Chownow helps the restaurant industry without charging any commissions.

The make us submit a picture so get ur story straight before complaining, and read the terms and conditions before signing up. Because it states, they can’t honor any sales or coupons because someone stores are independently owned or operated and we can shop at which every store you requested with the same name. So you do get a picture copy of the receipt via the app, and of course we have to keep a record of proof for people like you that complain. Get off the couch and go shopping yourself! Oh and don’t forget your mask! Good luck, think about your complaints before posting next time!

Nice article. I knew about DoorDash and Uber Eats application. I learned about their competitors today. As an investor, I want to do launch food delivery application in my area. I noticed a mobile application recently that has an online food ordering system and food delivery application with a world-class customer experience.

These delivery apps sometimes hurt the restaurants sometimes the high commissions they charge. But platforms like OrderStack [https:orderstack.io], ChowNow[https://get.chownow.com], Olo, etc, does not charge any commissions and helps restaurants reach customers without a middleman.

That is how they make money. You pay a premium for the convenience of delivery.

That’s the whole point of the service though. That’s part of the deal. If you want those discounts, than you go in yourself. If you want the convenience of it being delivered, then you pay a surcharge, which is full price. That’s how it makes money as a business. I’m all for or saving, but that doesn’t usually come packaged with convenience. It’s usually one or the other. Besides all of this is always in the fine print. That’s the only reason I know. I always read the fine print before I agree to anything. It’s called accountability for one’s decisions.

All of these pale in comparison to Clustertruck.com, a delivery only kitchen available in limited delivery areas in Indianapolis and Carmel, Indiana plus Columbus, Ohio, Kansas City, and Denver. No service or delivery fees, and the food is actually hot not only when it leaves the kitchen, but when it is handed to the customer. Why? Because Clustertruck controls the entire process from beginning to end. No waiting for a 3rd party driver to show up. One delivery at a time to one customer in a controlled delivery zone no more than 10-12 minutes from the kitchen. And more than 100 breakfast, lunch, and dinner items from which to choose.

I would not put Ubereats that high. They stole my money the only time I used it and I had to go through my bank to get it back. Now I won’t use Uber or Ubereats.

I used Instacart for quite a while for grocery shopping/delivery then stopped bc they raise the prices from the store’s prices and will NOT accept sale items or coupons. Example: store has Pepsi on special..4 twelve-packs for $10. InstaCart charges $6 for ONE 12-pack and will not alter that despite my phone calls to them.

don’t use instacart – they don’t want to give you the original receipt from Publix,, but getting the 2nd delivery with the receipt by mistake found my online receipt was $9 over which was suppose to be free, Contacting them was useless – made up reasons, excuses & apologized for seeing the real receipt
