I have tried bokksu for a few month. I have to agree, among all these companies out there competing for “snack box” delivery business, their box contents aren’t the worst. But their customer service leaves much to be desired. Cancelled my subscription and never looked back since.

    Don’t go to tokyo treat!
    Their customer service is APPALLING!
Their T&C’s take away your rights as a customer, and I find that very shady.

This was quoted to me when I asked for a refund for box I was charged for, but hadn’t yet been sent out: “If you cancel your subscription, you will not be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee paid for the then-current subscription period.”

I’ve been trying to ensure my subscription is cancelled for days.
    Cannot recommend at all.

Use conbinim instead. That’s much better than all of these boxed candy stores who send you not so good candies packed in a subscription box. At Conbini you can pick your own candies at very low prices and their shipping prices are too low.

I cancelled my Japan Crate after several months in a row they had problems with their shipment. The last straw was when some of their candy was ruined at instead of sending me replacement candy, they sent me 3 Miffy mechanical pencils. I don’t even use pencils.

    Be warned about Oyatsubox!

They sent a box to the wrong address (the Billing address) and won’t correct their mistake even after I sent the box back. They won’t return emails. Their customer service is terrible. Go to any other company!
