To be honest, Thanksgiving has never been a huge holiday in my life.
Living in a family of only 3, we rarely had family over and we rarely had over-the-top meals.
But if there is one day that gets me and my family fired up, it’s Black Friday!
This is the one day that I’m actually not reluctant to waking up early or fighting the crowds at the crazily busy mall.
Why?
Because I’m pumped for all those ridiculous deals.
But don’t let it fool you- Black Friday shopping can take its toll.
From the insane shoppers to the crazy road traffic, if you’re not mentally or physically ready to take on the day you will get trampled, literally.
But if you have the right plan and know how to truly dominate Black Friday shopping, you’ll be victorious.
And thankfully a nice cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee can keep you energized (and motivated) for those long hours.
Below, you’ll discover some of my essential Black Friday shopping tips to help you snag those perfect, highly coveted deals.
Black Friday Shopping Tips
Here are five of my favorite and most effective Black Friday shopping tips that everyone must take advantage of this holiday season.
1. Drink Coffee.
Chances are you’ll be up real early or real late, so keeping yourself energized is key when you’re Black Friday shopping. I bought the Dunkin Donuts Caramel Coffee Cake flavor from Walmart, and it’s a lifesaver.
2. Make a Game Plan.
Poor planning can cost you that highly coveted door buster that you’ve been eyeing for days. That’s why making a plan based on all the stores that you want to hit up as well as circling all the products on the ads that you want to purchase is essential. The last thing you need is to show up to a store too late and completely miss the deals.
Plus, this is also the perfect opportunity to set a budget.
3. Bring a Friend with You
What better way to cover twice the ground and double your purchases than bringing a friend (or girlfriend) to help you snag those door busters throughout the store. The more the merrier.
4. Start Early, Even on Thanksgiving Day
Believe it or not, stores have been opening up and offering deals on Thanksgiving Day as opposed to waiting for Black Friday. Sure it may be for safety reasons, but hey, this is the perfect time to beat out some of the crowds and grab some great deals before everyone else comes.
5. Avoid the Crowds and Shop Online.
The quality of product and deals that you can find online has been improving exponentially the past few years. That’s why avoiding the Black Friday crowds altogether and instead shopping from the comfort of your own home with your laptop and favorite coffee mug doesn’t seem so bad after all.
