I make most of my own snacks but I do have 2 go to snacks that are always in my purse. Great for when you find yourself waiting in the hospital for 14 hours because your husband has kidney stones. 1- A small plastic container of gf Pretzel sticks: I love Noosa brand yogurt and their containers are great for this tip. 2- Cookies! I go to the dollar store and buy single cookies in a tin. Give the cookies to your no gf family members and wash the tin. Now put in a yummy Big cookie of your choice. I usually have 2 of these in my bag at all times. And I am NEVER without my bottle of water.

I don’t know what makes these good for summer travel. Most of these would not stand up to heat.
