2020 Disney Cast Member Dining Discounts

One of the greatest perks about working at Walt Disney World or Disneyland isn’t just the free park access and holiday merchandise discount (40% off to be exact), but instead is actually the restaurant and dining discount!

With just you blue employee ID, you have the opportunity to save anywhere between 20 to 40% at most popular Disney World and Disneyland restaurants, including Disney Springs and Downtown Disney.

(And this even applies for college program kids!)

Now there are block-out days to be aware as well as some time restrictions, but all in all, these discounts are quite hefty.

Things to Know About the Cast Discount

Here are a few things that you should understand before using your 20% or 40% cast member dining discount:

• All active or retired employees of the Walt Disney Company are eligible to receive the cast member dining discount as long as they present their company ID.
• Your spouse or domestic partner can’t use a main entrance pass to receive a discount.
• The Cast Member must be present when using the discount.
• The check can be paid by any person in the party.
• Your cast member restaurant discount can’t be applied to separate checks.
• You can’t combine this discount with any other discount.
• For table service restaurants, an 18% gratuity will be added to your bill automatically. (So essentially your tip is covered while also giving you a 2% discount).
• There’s no limit for the number of guest a Cast Member can use the dining discount for.
• This discount does not apply to alcoholic beverages, lounges, pool bars, quick service restaurants, snack and beverage carts, or room service.

Well that’s it!

As long as you know what time of day you need to go the restaurants in order to get your discount and don’t forget to bring your company ID, you should be good to go!
