Whenever someone goes on a gluten free diet, whether if it’s willingly or forcefully through allergies or Celiacs disease, one of the first foods that they immediately believe that they can’t have is pasta. And with no pasta, they usually assume that they need to forever cross out all Italian restaurants from their list.

And all I have to say about that is STOP. Why?

Because many major Italian restaurant chains offer some of the best gluten free selections arounds. From gluten free penne pasta and spaghetti all the way to gluten free meatballs and alfredo sauce, Celiacs and gluten free dieters alike can find some great gluten free Italian restaurants that dish out delicious Italian classic favorites for you to devour. Plus, some restaurant are even really good when it comes to handling cross contamination in their kitchens which is a HUGE bonus.

And instead of you having to scour the web to find the perfect gluten free Italian restaurant, I went ahead and compiled a full list of them, including their complete gluten free menu.

Romano’s Macaroni Grill no longer offers gluten-free choices. Tried to go there for lunch the other day and was told when I requested the GF menu. I think it’s a weird decision for a corporation to make. We went elsewhere; I can’t believe we will be the only ones to do so.

I t would be nice if the Olive Garden offered gluten free rolls. A lot of restaurants do now, which is just wonderful

One of the best Italian gluten free restaurants we know of is Victoria’s in Rochester, MN. There is a large variety of menu items and their rolls are delicous!
