When Megabus reached out to me to share my perfect Megabus couples trip itinerary as a way to promote their Marry Me campaign (see the end of the post for more details), I just knew that I had to participate!
And of course, being an avid Disney addict, I knew exactly where I’d take my trip, Walt Disney World!
Disney Trip Itinerary with Megabus
Here’s the perfect trip that I’d take with my fiancΓ© on Megabus:
- Miami to Orlando
Megabus is a safe, convenient, and low cost bus service that services over 100 destination across North America, and I’m more than happy to say that I’ve used them many times whenever I wanted to explore the Big Apple.
That’s why I would be sure to use them again whenever I head to Orlando.
As close as it may seem, there’s no better way to get to the heart of Orlando than hopping on a Megabus. Plus, you won’t have to deal with any traffic.
Then once we get to Orlando, we’ll head straight to Disney World!
Where We’d Stay
One of the best hotels to stay in on Disney property is Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
This place is a gorgeous, Pacific Northwest resort that’s quite secluded and quiet despite the fact that it’s only a 7 minute boat ride to Magic Kingdom.
What We’d Do
Here are some of the best things that we’d do and eat while at Disney World during our trip.
1. Head to Magic Kingdom in the Morning.
Magic Kingdom is by far one of the most romantic places at Disney, let alone Orlando.
From gliding through the skies on Dumbo and Astro Orbiters, to screaming your head off on the 3 mountains (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain) there are so many fun and entertaining things that you and your loved one can do.
2. Head to Epcot for Dinner
Once you’ve strolled down Main Street USA and got your pictures with legendary characters and princesses, the next place we’d head is Epcot.
Epcot is by far the best park for food. It’s insane!
At Epcot, we’d start in France and indulge in delicious hand-made pastries.
Then a quick romantic photo stop in Italy (with a side of Sangria).
From there we’d head to Germany for some mouthwatering caramel goodies.
Then we’d end in Mexico with a Margarita and a perfect spot to watch Epcot’s nighttime spectacular, Illuminations, reflections of earth.
Then of course, when the show is over, it’s off to Test Track, Soarin’, and Mission Space to get some blood pumping!
3. End the Night at Disney Springs
Then once finished with Epcot, we’d end our night at Disney Springs for some great shopping and entertainment.
Plus, let’s not forget about a quick pit stop to get some Sprinkles cupcakes!
Then after heading back to our spacious room at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, we’d hop back on the Megabus and head on a home.
All in all, a perfect trip to Walt Disney World with my love.
