My personal review of Recess
I decided to try out the Recess Sampler so that I could try every flavor available minus the limited-edition ones.
Here are my honest thoughts:
I purchased with Recess Sampler which consists of all six flavors.
Flavors that I sampled were:
Coconut Lime (9/10)
Peach Ginger (8/10)
Black Cherry (8/10)
Pomegranate Hibiscus (6.5/10)
Blood Orange (6/10)
Blackberry Chai (3/10)
I genuinely enjoyed these lightly carbonated drinks from Recess especially the Coconut Lime flavor which was superior to the rest. Black Cherry and Peach Ginger were also great. The rest, I didn’t enjoy as much. But 3 out of 6 ain’t bad.
Overall, these drinks were not too sweet and not too bland. It is a perfect combination of tasty flavors and subtleness. And it’s almost as if every flavor had a hint of ginger (which probably comes from the American ginseng inside every can).
These low-key remind me of those Hint drinks but with carbonation.
I loved that there wasn’t an “earthy” aftertaste found in some hemp-infused drinks.
Plus, you gotta love packaging and simple can design.
Final Thoughts
Would I get these again and be a loyal customer? Maybe.
But would I take these over some of the other CBD sparkling waters out there? Absolutely.
So with that being said, if you’re looking for a semi-affordable CBD sparking water, I recommend that you give Recess a shot.
